How IHG One Rewards auctions work
IHG One Rewards runs its experience marketplace at auctions.ihg.com, on the same iSynApp auction engine that powers the Hilton, Delta, and Wyndham storefronts. It offers a genuinely even mix of formats: Bid Now auctions where members compete in IHG One Rewards points, and Redeem Now fixed-price lots claimed outright. Inventory leans toward sports and event hospitality, including recurring rugby and marquee-event packages.
On the auction side, the highest bid in points when the clock runs out wins the lot. Some IHG auctions post as Opening Soon before bidding is enabled, so a listing without a countdown is usually a lot that has not opened yet rather than an error. As with the sibling platforms, decide your ceiling before you bid rather than reacting in the final minutes.

Redeem Now lots have a set points price and are claimed instantly, first-come, first-served - no competition beyond speed. Bid Now lots are auctions where members bid points against each other until the close. The strategy is completely different: one is a yes-or-no decision at a known cost, the other needs a maximum you decide in advance.
How much do IHG One Rewards auctions usually go for?
