SkyMiles Experiences (skymilesexperiences.com) is Delta's marketplace for redeeming SkyMiles on concerts, sports hospitality, culinary events, and behind-the-scenes access. Since its November 2024 relaunch it is overwhelmingly an auction platform: a small instant-purchase tier exists, but nearly everything Delta lists is a lot you win by bidding miles against other members.

Bids move in 1,000-mile increments with proxy bidding: set a maximum once and the platform bids only as high as it needs. A bid in the final stretch extends the close by about five minutes, so a last-second snipe just resets the clock. Bids are final and cannot be withdrawn, miles are charged only if you win, and your balance must cover every bid you have pending at once - leading several auctions effectively reserves your miles against all of them.
