Held at Marriott Bethesda Downtown at Marriott HQ, this intimate experience offers unprecedented access to the final round of a competition that began at the property level with more than 1,700 competitors from across the U.S. and Canada, all vying for the coveted title of Master of the Craft. The experience begins at Marriott’s Headquarters Test Kitchen, where guests will enjoy welcome refreshments inspired by past mystery ingredients before getting the opportunity to think like a competitor themselves. Guided by top industry talent, attendees will learn how to transform ingredients into a bold, trend-forward beverage, then put their ideas to the test in a fast-paced mini-competition. It’s a rare, hands-on look at the imagination, innovation, and craftsmanship behind Marriott’s most successful beverage programs. Members then make their way to Marriott’s innovative "Floor 57" Model Rooms Floor for an insider tour of the Beta Rooms, an experiential testing space where new room designs, technology, products, and services are piloted and refined before being introduced across Marriott’s global portfolio. Up next, members head to the competition to enjoy the exclusive Marriott Bonvoy Lounge—a dedicated space to relax, socialize, and immerse in the excitement of the event. From the lounge, guests will watch finalists transform mystery ingredients into inspired culinary and beverage creations judged on technique, presentation, storytelling, and flavor, while enjoying bespoke beverages and small bites featuring past mystery ingredients.
