Qatar Privilege Club Collection auctions close at a median of 75,000 Avios across 262 verified closes, as of October 11, 2026. Sales run from 1,000 Avios for an FC Internazionale Milano vs Juventus match in Perth to 2,050,000 Avios for a FIFA World Cup Final package, so the spread is wide. We pulled every auction that has closed and been post-close verified in our Qatar Airways closed-auction archive. We then broke the prices down by category: Formula 1 hospitality, concerts and WWE at The O2, FIFA World Cup match packages, and signed sports memorabilia. Figures typed into this post are a snapshot as of October 11, 2026; the chart and the category table read from our closing-price stats, which refresh monthly.

To bid, start from the live Qatar Airways Privilege Club auctions page, or see all open Qatar auctions, soonest close first.

A note on the numbers before we start. Every figure below is a verified close: the figure Qatar's auction platform shows once an auction has ended, not a bid we happened to see before the close (how we verify closing prices). For a close with bids, that figure is the winning bid. Qatar Privilege Club Collection listings are auctions, so a bid you see mid-auction is not the close. Seven of the 262 verified closes have no bidder count on record. Qatar's platform confirmed bids on four of them when we re-checked on October 1, 2026, and could not confirm bids on the other three, which we call closes, never sales. Five more closes were verified as having no bids, and one duplicate listing carries only a last-observed figure; every figure here leaves those six out.

The one rule that decides whether you can bid at all

Before any of these prices matter, read this warning:

You need a Qatar Airways Privilege Club membership to bid, and you can only bid Avios sitting in that Qatar account. Avios is a shared currency across British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Finnair, and Qatar, but the Qatar Privilege Club Collection platform looks only at your Qatar balance when you bid and when you win. Avios that are merely linked from a British Airways account cannot place a single bid. Moving Avios from a linked British Airways Club account into Qatar is free and usually quick, with two catches. A British Airways Club account less than 30 days old cannot send Avios to Qatar at all, under IAG's 2026 transfer terms (reported by MainlyMiles in March 2026). A very large transfer can also be held for review (our Avios transfer guide covers both). Move your Avios well before you plan to bid. Qatar's own terms, printed on every open Collection listing, add three more rules. Bids are confirmed with a one-time PIN, depending on the OTP preference set in your account. The Avios leave your balance the moment you bid and come back only if you are outbid. Purchases are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be resold.

The rest of this post assumes your Avios are already in the right place.

The median close, and why the average runs high

As of October 11, 2026, the median verified Qatar close is 75,000 Avios. Half of all verified closes came in below that, half above. The average is far higher, close to 200,000 Avios across all 262 closes, because a handful of trophy packages (World Cup Final rounds, Monaco Grand Prix hospitality) pull the mean up while most listings sit far lower. When someone tells you "Qatar auctions cost a couple hundred thousand Avios," they are quoting the average and describing almost nothing you'd bid on.

The middle of the market is wide. The chart and the table below come from our closing-price stats, refreshed monthly. The latest refresh puts the median at 75,000 Avios and the typical Qatar close in the 28,307 to 194,000 Avios band. That band holds the middle half of every verified close: a quarter closed below its floor and a quarter above its ceiling. Plan for a range, not a single number.

By category, the archive breaks down like this. The first two rows refresh monthly; the memorabilia row is a dated snapshot.

CategoryVerified closesMedian close
Sports (F1, World Cup, football, WNBA)159160,000 Avios
Entertainment (mostly events at The O2)7632,052 Avios
Signed memorabilia (genuine jerseys, as of October 11, 2026)24about 22,750 Avios

One caveat on that last row: our archive filed 27 listings under "merchandise," but three of them are FIFA World Cup match packages that were mislabeled, and they sold for 265,000 to 390,000 Avios. The memorabilia row counts the 24 genuine jerseys only, and the World Cup section below counts those three packages where they belong. Two things keep the rows from adding up to the archive total. The three packages sit in neither row, and the memorabilia row is a dated snapshot while the other two refresh monthly.

Sports has the higher median and the higher ceiling. Entertainment (mostly events at The O2) is where the lower prices cluster. In the latest monthly refresh the sports median runs several multiples above the entertainment median, so the category you target matters far more than which specific night you chase.

Formula 1 hospitality: the highest median closes

Formula 1 hospitality packages carry the highest median of any category in this post. As of October 11, 2026, we track 13 verified Formula 1 grand prix closes. They ran from 535,000 Avios for the Lenovo Austrian Grand Prix to 1,475,000 Avios for the MSC Cruises United States Grand Prix, with a median of about 930,000 Avios. The United States Grand Prix took the top spot when it sold for 1,475,000 Avios in late September, overtaking the Louis Vuitton Monaco Grand Prix at 1,202,000 Avios. The Pirelli British Grand Prix at Silverstone sold for 952,345 Avios, and the AWS Hungarian Grand Prix for 985,000 Avios. These figures leave out the Grand Prix VIP Village passes (not Formula 1) that Qatar also auctions under "Grand Prix" titles, which sold for 65,000 to 100,000 Avios.

These packages pull the whole program's average upward. If F1 is your target, budget for the high six figures or more and expect competition: the Monaco package drew 12 bidders. For the wider picture on how grand prix hospitality closes across programs, see F1 tickets with points.

Concerts, WWE and fan expos at The O2: the affordable end

The O2 arena in London supplies most of Qatar's entertainment listings, and it is where the program is cheap. As of October 11, 2026, we track 63 verified O2 closes. They ran from 6,500 Avios (a Dungeons & Dragons Fan Expo listing) to 175,000 Avios (Olivia Dean), with a median of 36,000 Avios. More than half of them landed between 20,000 and 45,000 Avios: Def Leppard sold for 27,300 Avios, ZAYN for 36,000 Avios and Doja Cat for 44,337 Avios, while Tame Impala went higher, at 64,000 Avios.

Non-concert nights at The O2 close in the same range. WWE Monday Night Raw sold for 35,600 Avios, and The Original Harlem Globetrotters for 44,000 Avios. If you want an experience without a six-figure balance, this is the shelf to shop.

FIFA World Cup packages: from 25,000 to 2,050,000 Avios

Our archive holds 89 verified FIFA World Cup 2026 closes from Qatar (as of October 11, 2026). Match packages sold for as little as 25,000 Avios (South Africa vs Korea Republic), and the median close is 190,000 Avios. Group-stage matches sat toward the lower end (Qatar vs Switzerland sold for 77,000 Avios), knockout rounds climbed sharply, and the Final sat at the top of the range.

Qatar ran the FIFA World Cup Final (Match 104) package as a series of separate listings, and the rounds on record closed between June 12 and July 9, 2026. Three of them sold. One sold for 2,050,000 Avios with one bidder on record, the highest sale in our Qatar data. The other two sold for 2,025,000 Avios and 2,000,000 Avios: we never recorded a bidder count for them, but Qatar's platform confirmed bids on both when we re-checked on October 1, 2026. Another round closed with no bids at all.

The round that closed on July 9 is the one we leave out of every price quote. Its only reading matched the asking figure of the earlier round that drew no bids, and Qatar's platform cannot confirm whether anyone bid on it, so we treat its figure as an opening ask, not a sale. It still sits in the 262 closes, the medians and the chart, which cover every verified close. For the Final and knockout rounds across every program, see World Cup 2026 Final results across programs.

The most-contested closed auctions

Bidder count is a decent proxy for demand. Qatar's auction pages show how many people took part rather than how many bids they placed, so the counts below are bidders. The most-fought-over closed Qatar auction in our data (as of October 11, 2026) was a UEFA Champions League Final Match and Hotel Experience (Budapest, May 2026), which drew 22 bidders on its way to a 1,165,000 Avios sale. A companion Final Pitch-side VIP Experience drew 19 bidders and sold for 1,525,000 Avios. An Arsenal vs Sporting pitch-side package drew 21 bidders and sold for 145,000 Avios.

The cheapest verified sales

As of October 11, 2026, only eight of the 262 verified closes finished under 5,000 Avios. The cheapest sale we track is an Inter Summer Tour football match (FC Internazionale Milano vs Juventus, in Perth) that sold for 1,000 Avios with six bidders. A second Inter Summer Tour match (vs Milan) sold for 1,100 Avios, and a JOJI concert at the Barclays Center in New York sold for 1,500 Avios with five bidders. A Summer Walker show sold for 4,001 Avios, a New York Liberty WNBA game for 4,800 Avios, and a signed Brooklyn Nets jersey for 4,600 Avios. Six of those eight were New York or Perth listings, so treat them as exceptions and plan a balance around the median rather than around these.

Signed memorabilia: the wildcard category

Qatar also auctions signed sports memorabilia. As of October 11, 2026, the 24 genuine signed-jersey closes ran from 4,600 Avios (a Brooklyn Nets jersey) to 120,600 Avios (a signed Paris Saint-Germain jersey). Price did not follow the bidder count: that Paris Saint-Germain jersey sold for 120,600 Avios with nine bidders, while another sold for 85,000 Avios with 16. If you collect, watch this category.

Frequently asked questions

What is the median Qatar Privilege Club auction closing price?

As of October 11, 2026, the median across the 262 verified Qatar Airways auction closes in the PointAuctions.com archive is 75,000 Avios. The average is far higher, close to 200,000 Avios, because a small number of trophy packages (World Cup Final and Formula 1 hospitality) pull the mean up while most listings close well below it.

What is the cheapest Qatar auction sale on record?

As of October 11, 2026, the cheapest verified sale we track is an Inter Summer Tour football match (FC Internazionale Milano vs Juventus, in Perth) that sold for 1,000 Avios. A second Inter Summer Tour match (vs Milan) sold for 1,100 Avios, and a JOJI concert at the Barclays Center in New York sold for 1,500 Avios. Most Qatar concert and entertainment listings close at or under 45,000 Avios.

Can I use my British Airways Avios to bid on Qatar auctions?

Not directly. The auction platform only counts Avios held in your Qatar Airways Privilege Club account, so you must move Avios from a linked British Airways account into Qatar before bidding. Transfers are free and usually quick, but under IAG's 2026 transfer terms a British Airways account less than 30 days old cannot send Avios to Qatar. The Avios fungibility trap explains the full routing.

What do Formula 1 packages close at in Avios?

As of October 11, 2026, verified Qatar Formula 1 grand prix packages have closed from 535,000 Avios for the Austrian Grand Prix to 1,475,000 Avios for the United States Grand Prix. The median across 13 closes is about 930,000 Avios, the highest of the categories in this post. Qatar's Grand Prix VIP Village passes, which are not Formula 1, are not included.
