About Chef Michael Bertozzi Chef Michael Bertozzi has led The Kitchen's culinary direction since January 2020, introducing a global fusion of flavors while overseeing menu development and chef recruiting and training across the company's restaurant concepts and locations nationwide. A Florida native who has worked in restaurants since age 15, he studied at Auburn University while working his way through local restaurants, including a stint as Sous Chef at Amsterdam Café. In 2010 he was recruited to Atlanta's acclaimed TWO Urban Licks, later serving as Central's executive chef in Alabama before returning to TWO Urban Licks as executive chef and eventually becoming director of culinary for Concentrics Restaurants.
