About Chef Michael Bertozzi Chef Michael Bertozzi has led The Kitchen's culinary direction since January 2020, introducing a global fusion of flavors while overseeing menu development and chef recruiting and training across the company's restaurant concepts and locations nationwide. A Florida native who has worked in restaurants since age 15, he studied at Auburn University while working his way through local restaurants, including a stint as Sous Chef at Amsterdam Café.
